| In winter Val Gardena fulfils all wishes: you can ski and snowboard on the 26 km slopes around the Sella massive (the famous Sellaronda) and in the Dolomiti Superski Arena (1200 km slopes, the biggest skiing resort of the world), modern ascending facilities, romantic walks through the nature covered with snow, practice cross country skiing in the natural park Puez-Geisler, do enchanting trekkings with the snowshoes or practice ski alpinism. There are many chances to stop in rustic mountain chalets to relax and to restore. Moreover, you can skate on ice, sledge, go on horse-drawn sleigh rides through the snow-covered countryside, swim and take advantage of several wellness centres. |
